Wolfgang Bellingradt stellt WAHRE WERTE auf der Kunst Biennale in Florenz einem internationalen Publikum vor. Seine Installation besteht aus 16 Bild-Tafeln und zeigt individuell kalligraphierte und vergoldete Brotlaibe. Wie edle Goldbarren präsentieren sich diese vor schwarzem Hintergrund, und werden zusätzlich durch vergoldete Rahmen inthronisiert. Das Brot wird zum Symbol für alle existenzerhaltenden Werte. Es interpretiert sich als ein Gut, das häufig als zu selbstverständlich und immer verfügbar gesehen wird obwohl es für einen großen Teil dieser Welt nicht erreichbar ist. Seine Vergoldung kennzeichnet seinen wahren Wert. Die Installation erinnert den Betrachter daran, die menschliche Existenz nicht an Werten zu orientieren, die letztlich doch nur temporär, instabil und somit vergänglich sind. Das Werk lässt metaphorisch erkennen, dass nur die Rückbesinnung und die Konzentration auf elementare Werte für das menschliche Wesen existenzerhaltend sind und deutet dabei sowohl auf die physischen als auch auf die psychischen Elementarwerte hin.

German painter Wolfgang Bellingradt will present his work "true values" at the Florence Biennale from 5th to the 12th of December this year. Now, by presentig his installation "true values", Wolfgang Bellingradt puts an highly topical work of this theme on the Florence Art Biennale to an international audience. His installation contains of 16 artworks and shows 16 gold-plated loafs of bread which are individually calligraphied. They are presented like noble gold bars on black settings and are enthroned, in addition, by gilt frames. Bread becomes the symbol for all essential values, for all the things which are really neccessary for the continuity of human existence. It interprets itself as a property which is often seen as a matter of course and always available , although it is not accessible for many people in this world. It`s gilding marks it`s true value. The installation reminds the viewer to watch out values which are only temporary, unstable and fleeting. The work reveals metaphorically that only the concentration on elementary, international and unifying values can preservative human existence. These values are both, physical as well as psychic values. True values can not be replaced by artifical values.
